Neil started with Tellus in 2004 as the Operations Director to become the Chief Executive Officer in 2008. He has two young boys and has lived in Plymouth since 1990.

Before joining Tellus Group Neil had a varied background in Management Education, IT and Management in Social Care.

He has a Masters in Business Administration. He likes Malcolm Forbes’ quote: “Education’s purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one”.

Roland joined Tellus in 2019, following 15 years in senior commercial roles within international education and student recruitment. Roland has travelled extensively to develop relationships and increase business in Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and the CIS regions particularly. Roland has vast experience in all ELT sectors including Teacher Training, Adults, Young Learners and University Pathways. Prior to this, Roland also held school leadership roles in England, gaining excellent knowledge of the student experience.

Originally from London, Roland lives on the South Coast with his wife and their three, very active children. He is a sports enthusiast and loves having his weekend ruined by his beloved West Ham football team!

Theodora joined the team in 2018 as Digital & Communications Manager after completing an MSc in Digital & Social Media at Plymouth University with the scope to plan, co-ordinate and overview the implementation of Tellus Digital & Communications Strategy.

She has over 20 years’ experience in Senior Administrator, Management & Marketing Roles in the Educational & Cultural Sector. Theodora is Greek and came to London in 1992, to study Media & Communications at Middlesex University. Moved to the South West in 1995 and has been living and working between the 2 countries ever since. She has a 23 year old son who lives in Netherlands so travelling is very much in her agenda.

Allison joined Tellus in May 2016 as a member of the Finance Team and has recently taken over the role of Commercial Finance Manager.

She is ACCA qualified and has 15 years’ experience in the accounting industry.  She is married and has two children.  She also has two lovely granddaughters who she sees regularly.  She enjoys reading and walking her dog Rolo in her spare time.

Julie joined Tellus Group as the Human Resources Officer. She is CIPD qualified and has worked in HR in various industries for many years.

She has lived in Plymouth most of her life and she shares her home with her cat called Looby Lou.

Peri joined the team in 2019 after spending almost a decade working abroad in various roles within the TEFL industry. He began his teaching career working and training at International House in London, Kuala Lumpur and Doha, before moving to Muscat, Oman. He continued his professional development whilst teaching on a foundation programme for a University of Portsmouth accredited degree pathway, specialising in General English and IELTS preparation courses. Following his completion of the Delta qualification, he moved into academic management, overseeing operational planning and teacher development for the department.

Having now settled in Portsmouth with his wife and two daughters, he enjoys spending time with his family on the weekend, playing the guitar, and following Leeds United on match days.

Roberto has a Masters Equivalent Degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences with a special interest in Development Cooperation and African history and politics. He also completed a specialization course in Development Cooperation at the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Brussels in March 2010 and another one in European Project Management at EuropaCube in Turin in 2014.

For the Tellus Education Group he has designed, written and managed to completion 2 European funded projects within the Leonardo da Vinci and the Erasmus+ frameworks. He moved from Plymouth to Turin in 2013 and he’s been managing our Italian office ever since. Roberto speaks Italian, English and some Spanish and French.

Gonzalo manages Spanish Branch of Tellus College in Salamanca (Spain). He graduated as Computer Engineer from the University of Salamanca in the speciality of Software Engineering. He has also completed a two-year Master’s degree in e-Commerce (B2B & B2C).

Gonzalo joined Tellus as part on an eight-month internship in October 2008. Aside from educational managing projects in Spain he is in charge of TIM (Tellus Information Management) and CRM IT systems.

Daniel Krysa has been managing all operations of Tellus College in Poland since 2012. Prior to that he was based at Tellus Education Group’s head office in the UK for a number of years. His responsibilities include project management and oversight over all educational initiatives and vocational programmes hosted in Poland by Tellus College.

Daniel’s background is IT business development (5 years’ experience), online marketing (9 years’ experience), recruitment (2 years’ experience), sociology (MA studies), project management (NVQ 3 qualification) and language services (15 years’ experience).

When not working: a keen freeride skier, hiker, biker, wanna-be surfer – in short: very much an outdoors person.

Anastasia worked for the company between 2008-2011 as a country coordinator, seizing the opportunity to apply her knowledge of languages (German, Russian) in a new field of marketing and sales. She then left Tellus Group due to child rearing commitments and took on a home-based position as a media analyst with a London-based media company. However Anastasia was pleased to rejoin the Tellus Group in 2016 and found that in her absence the company had gone from strength to strength.

Anastasia lives and works in Plymouth, which gives her the chance to “indulge” her love for local history working as an occasional tour guide in delightful locations of Devon and Cornwall.

Jana joined Tellus in March 2014, and moved to England from Slovakia in May 2012 having completed her studies in the Czech Republic.

Jana enjoys swimming, running, kayaking and skiing as well as reading and walking on the moors. Jana speaks Slovak, Czech, English and a bit of German.

Gonzalo has a degree in History and loves language learning, he comes from Santiago de Compostela, where he did his studies, in Galicia, Spain.

He’s had the opportunity to live in different countries, Ireland, France and Portugal, and is now back in his home country. Gonzalo loves travelling, literature and is crazy about tennis, which he plays regularly.

Ornella, originally from Italy,  joined Tellus in January 2018 after a period of work experience with the company. After having achieved her bachelor degree in Cultural Tourism in the University of Udine and Lyon (France), she had been working the past 3 years in Paris, France where she worked in the European Mobility sector. She speaks Italian, French and English. She loves the cinema, theatre and cooking!

Fanny, a French national, joined Tellus in September 2018 as Sales Account Manager for France and Belgium. After finishing her studies in 2009 she went travelling in Australia and Asia where she developed a passion for photography. Upon her return, she decided to relocate to the UK to begin her career. Fanny took on a role as a French Interpreter working with the NHS and the Asylum Seekers and Refugees Mental Health Team in Plymouth. She also worked in a store as a Sales Assistant for the biggest mobile network in the UK. As Fanny is trilingual she is always looking for an opportunity to use her skills and as such joined.

Stefanie re-joined Tellus as a Sales Account Manager in June 2017 and is based in Berlin. She is responsible for the German and Austrian market.

The last 9 years Stefanie has worked with and in several international projects. She finished her degree as an Industrial clerk in Germany and is passionate about traveling. She speaks German and English.

Konrad joined Tellus is September 2018 as Sales Account Manager for Poland and has worked in sales & marketing for most of his career, has a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and speaks Polish, English and some German. He is originally from Katowice, Poland and moved to the UK in 2012. He likes history, fantasy and sport and is a massive Juventus Turin supporter.

Chiara joined the company in 2009. Initially she coordinated European mobility projects and managed our educational programmes in Rome – delivering educational opportunities, training and associated services.

She is now responsible for adults within the Italian market, where she works in partnership with agents and educational businesses to create unique learning opportunities for individuals, adults and groups offering General English, Exam preparation, Business language courses, Training programmes and Work experience. Chiara holds a degree in educational sciences and speaks Italian, English and Spanish.

Mariana joined Tellus in April 2016 as an International Account Manager in Brazil. She has a varied background in Management and Teaching, besides having worked for the bank industry for almost 4 years.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English and is currently studying French and German.

She lives in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where she was born and has been an exchange student in Christchurch, New Zealand and Hartford, USA. Mariana loves travelling, cinema and good food!

Suzanne joined Tellus as a Finance Assistant in August 2011. She is single and has lived in Plymouth all her life.

She enjoys visiting different Countries, but always loves to return to her home in the West Country.

Mykilee joined Tellus in 2019 as the Sales Ledger Clerk and has been living in Plymouth all of her life.

She is currently studying for an AAT whilst raising her daughter with her partner. As a family, they love being outdoors exploring, baking and creating memories together.

You can often find Mykilee in her spare time with her head in a book or planning their next family adventure.

From Junior Lecturer, Kimmo advanced through the positions of Senior Lecturer, Deputy Head (Department of English), Head of English, Director of Educational Services and Director of a private language school, and has over 40 years of teaching experience.

He is now mainly engaged in teaching courses in General English and Exam Preparation. Kimmo has studied a Masters in TEFL and speaks English, Finnish and Swedish fluently, German satisfactorily and some Russian, Italian, Spanish and French.

Gina joined Meridian in 2007 as an EFL teacher, having previously taught post-16 ‘A’ level, vocational programmes and adult access programmes in health and social care.  She has also developed foundation programmes for adults with learning disabilities.

Gina has an honours degree in Sociology, a post-graduate teaching diploma and TESOL certificate.  She has worked and travelled extensively with volunteer projects in Asia, Africa and South America including teaching monks in a Buddhist monastery.

Elena has worked as an EFL teacher for over twenty years. She joined the Meridian School of English team in April 2012. She has a degree in TEFL and holds two Cambridge qualifications, having obtained CELTA in 2012 and DELTA (Module 1) in 2013 .

Elena was involved in British Council Projects in Russia: Young Learner In-Service Teacher Training and English Coursebook for Primary School – as a teacher trainer and a co-author of the YL English Coursebook Millie series in Russia. She loves working with different age groups in multilingual classrooms.

Rachael is now based in Plymouth, though she spent a considerable time living and teaching abroad in Slovakia, Poland, Romania and Ireland.

She enjoys working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, as well as sampling delicacies such as fried cheese. She currently loves living in Plymouth and regularly enjoys walks by the sea.

David has a Masters Degree in English from Oxford University as well as a Diploma in EFL. He has worked as a teacher and trainer in 16 countries including Syria, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

He has also worked as a publisher and editor, radio presenter and fish farmer. David has written and edited over 15 travel guides and is currently working on a book about phrasal verbs as well as preparing new teaching courses for young learners and teachers.

Natalia joined Meridian in July 2013. She holds Cambridge CELTA together with a BA(Hons) Degree in linguistics and TEFL. She has worked as an EFL teacher for 20 years teaching students of different age groups and levels.

She worked as a volunteer teacher for the British Red Cross helping asylum seekers to improve their English. She loves working with international students and thinks that it is a rewarding job.

Harry has a First Class Honours Degree in English Language from Portsmouth University and after a year traveling in different countries he gained the Trinity Cert TESOL.

He has been teaching English for over five years, of which two were teaching online in virtual classrooms. “Teaching has taught me to be more patient, driven, open-minded, and flexible.” He loves snorkelling and is currently learning Chinese and studying oriental cultures.

Autumn joined Tellus in January 2018 as Accommodation Officer. She has a BA (Hons) in English Language & Literature and has 9 years’ experience working within the education sector in a variety of roles.

In her spare time, Autumn enjoys reading, indoor climbing and long walks with her dog Nala.

Valeria joined Tellus in September 2018, after having worked for 4 years as Customer Service Advisor in the insurance sector. She moved to Plymouth from Italy in 2013 and she holds an MSc Degree in Geology, her first fondness. Valeria loves spending time with her family, playing with her little son, reading during her free time and cooking.

Chrissie joined Meridian in July 2018 as one of our Accommodation and Activities officers.   She has since also taken on the role of safeguarding lead in the Portsmouth office. She has 26 years’ experience in Business Management in hospitality and prior to joining to Tellus she was working in special educational needs. Chrissie enjoys spending her free time with her 2-year-old grandson and also spends her summer holidays working as a volunteer on overseas projects.

Greg joined Tellus in 2019, following over 20 years in teaching, recruitment and operations roles in the TEFL industry. He has a Master’s Degree in English Philology, QTS and speaks Polish and some German. Greg has a passion for the problem-solving aspect of I.T. systems and the challenges it brings.
Nowadays, Greg is the Registration and Communications Manager and uses his skills and vast knowledge of the industry on a day to day basis to ensure the smooth running of registration, communications and work placement.
Originally from Poland, Greg lives in Portsmouth. When he’s not following registrations, you can probably find him strolling around and enjoying the sights.

Paul comes from Plymouth but has lived in Spain and Greece for a number of years. He has had a successful career in retail customer services for over twenty years. Paul holds a level 3 diploma in Customer Services and Business Administration.

He enjoys meeting people from all different walks of life, trying different types of food and experiencing different cultures.

Originally from Yorkshire, Kevin relocated to Plymouth 19 years ago.

In 1985, after completing his Plumbing and Heating Engineering apprenticeship, Kevin then spent 18 months busking around Europe. On his return to the UK he worked as a Link Worker for Community Volunteer Services and then as a successful Sales executive in the packaging industry.

With his partner coming from Germany, they visit frequently and Kevin also retains a keen interest in music, performing arts and disability rights

Virginie plays a vital role within the work experience placement team. Before joining Tellus Virginie had worked in two other companies and brought a wealth of experience with her when she joined Tellus.

She Studied English at the University of Martinique in the French West Indies. In coming to Tellus, she has travelled full circle as she had been a Tellus student years before.
