Tellus college at the annual ida project conference

6th January 2017

Tellus College has been represented by CEO Neil Pick and German coordinator Anastasia Schill at the annual conference in Berlin for IdA Project on 8-9 November 2016. There we had a pleasure meeting with our long-standing IdA Partner from Germany, Katja Feldmer and Stefanie Bley of Akademie Überlingen. Tellus College has been providing work experience placements for Akademie Überlingen since 2009 under the framework of IdA project.

During the conference all involved parties, such as job centres, governmental ministries, project coordinators, work experience providers as well as the participants, took part in evaluation and development of new strategies. Various aspects of participants’ motivation for enrolment on mobility have been explored through panel discussions and workshops. This will result in great improvement to the participant recruitment approach.

Anastasia Tellus College German partner coordinator said, “I gained a much deeper insight into the challenges IdA project presents at every stage – from being an idea, to fulfilment, to dissemination. I feel that Tellus College is now even better equipped to provide high quality WE placements, which will take into consideration the background specifics of IdA participants”

Tellus Education Group CEO Neil Pick said, “We are proud to have participated in IdA and supporting some really good outcomes for students… It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about other IdA actors positive outcomes… and being in Berlin with its warm welcome and service is always a pleasure.”
