Salamanca in north western Spain, is the regional capital of “Castilla y Leon” (Castile and Leon). This ancient university city is sometimes described as the Oxford of Spain, and is uniquely rich in architectural, religious and gastronomic culture. In recognition it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Centre.
Home to the ‘purest’ spoken Spanish this dynamic city offers a wealth of life changing opportunities for all our students.
"With great surprise I discovered that I can study and work along just well with different students of other nationalities. And another “strange” thing happened: since the start of my project based learning in Tellus College, I have actually been going to school with pleasure again!"

"After almost ten years of LdV/E+ projects this is the best experience so far. Tellus are truly professionals keeping the project focus straight from application until the very end. Their staff are just wonderful, as well as their services. The most inspiring and useful part was collaborating on ECVET implementation. Highly recommended."
Jaroslav Smola, Project Manager from Czech Republic
Salamanca has excellent connections to all major international airports
Salamanca is easily manageable on foot –the majority of monuments and places of interest are close together.
There is also a network of city buses with services throughout the city and the outskirts. Buses usually run from 7:15 am-10:45 pm.
Taxis are another option, offering local, provincial and inter-provincial services.
In the summer months there is a Tourist Train which travels around Salamanca. It starts from Plaza de Anaya, next to the cathedral, and stops at the city’s main sights.
